I've booked my slot, what do I do next?
After booking you need to email across the links to whatever you would like promoted during your promotion package. We will normally get the images via these links but if you prefer to send Hi Res images across then that's fine too. Can you also please send us your link details for Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook. Email to [email protected]
I'm not on all these Social Media sites yet, can I still book promotion?
Yes, that's fine if you are not set up as essentially our promotion will drive people to where you are pointing them ie you will get more shop visits/sales anyway.
Can I only have links to my shop items?
No, you can have a mixture of links, so you can promote your facebook page, your blog, more than one shop etc. Each package has an allocated/maximum number of items you can promote during that month. Of course if you want to have concentrated promotion to one shop with just a few specified items then that's fine too!
The Month I want to book is full. Can you squeeze me in?
No, unfortunately we can only have a specific number of shops under our promotion at any one time. Too many and potential customers will have their "feeds" flooded by us and switch us off! We definitely don't want that!
I only want 2 weeks promotion, is that possible?
Bookings are dealt with by month but if you want to concentrate your promotion over a specific time period during that Month then let us know and we will do our best to make this happen for you.
Can I have a Blog feature more than once?
Yes, you can be featured as many times as you like. It is good avenue to bring interest to your shop but it can also be used to launch a new seasonal collection or to promote a giveaway etc.
Why are you charging and are you still going doing the free promotion on Facebook?
British Crafters is an amazing place to be, so vibrant and caring and busy! It simply isn't possible to run what became a full time enterprise for nothing. By charging we are ensuring the long time survival of this wonderful community that benefits from many sales and increased brand awareness and traffic to their shops via this channel. There will still be the opportunity to be shared to our Facebook page without paying! This will be on an adhoc basis as before with no promises!
I booked but now I'm not quite ready with my shop. Can I delay the start?
We understand that you want to be perfectly ready for your promotion to start and are very happy to delay your start for however long it takes for you to be happy for it to go ahead!
Do you ever do Offer Codes?
We may offer discount codes from time to time. Such codes may only be applied to purchases made through the account in respect of which the discount code was offered and registered and are not transferrable or redeemable for cash. Unless otherwise stated: codes (1) are only available for future new orders placed online, (2) cannot be used retrospectively and (3) can only be redeemed once per customer and (4) You cannot use more than one discount code per transaction unless we state otherwise; if we do so, the order in which the codes are to be applied is in our sole discretion.

To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering.

I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
As needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
If necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving my services. I use your information only to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
Compliance with laws; I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
